So I wrote a story the other day about a safety program/seat belt awareness program to get teens more interested in driver safety and realize the many risks associated with young drivers.
Good story, nice program, yadda yadda.
One of our photographers then took a photo at a local school of a teen backing out of the parking lot.
SHE WASN'T WEARING HER SEAT BELT.
The entire six-county region seems to have noticed this, including one of the police chiefs that ran the program. What people don't realize is that they should leave mean and grandma-like messages to the photographer -- you know, the guy whose name is UNDER THE PHOTO... not the poor innocent reporter who had nothing to do with that.
Ho-hum.
