During a chat with my 9-year-old niece in New Jersey on the phone tonight, my niece gabbed about school, her new tutor, her annoying little brother and much more. It is always a delight to hear her cute little voice share all of the world's ups and downs with me.
My favorite moment, bar none, was when she said: "Every inch of my body loves you. I miss you so much."
I miss her too.
