Our friends Julie and Mike had their baby!!!
We got a message that Olivia Claire was born at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday via an emergency C-section. Olivia weighed 9lbs, 1oz and was 21 inches long at birth.
Momma said, "She gave us a scare but she is perfect."
I can barely even contemplate all that might be in her future -- the difficult decisions and heartbreaks, the academic, athletic, extracurricular and professional victories and adapting to this weird ole world we live in. Knowing her parents, however, I feel confident that little Olivia will be given a great foundation that most children could only dream of.
