I asked Scott the other day, "What part of our wedding day are you looking forward to most?", trying to get an idea of what his expectations of the big day (263 days away!) really are.
He thought for a moment and then said the following, almost getting himself smacked: "None of the actual ceremony or reception. Probably nothing that whole day, really."
As I put on my brass knuckles, preparing to kick his little butt into oblivion, he then added, making me smile and saving his life: "I'm more looking forward to the part where we just get into bed that night and I can say, 'Good night, wife.' I just want to start our life together."
I love him, I love him, I love him.
